NUTRITION FOR TEENAGERS : AN INTERDISCIPLINARY LESSON AND WORKSHOP



On Wednesday the 9th, a nutritionist called Ester Comellas gave us a talk about nutrition and pollution and then we learned how to make “green juices” . Here are the notes from the talk, which was very interesting:


Air pollution is a important health risk. There is increasingly more pollution in our food and this pollution begins at the time of modern diseases.
Toxics are found in food, water, air, smoking, cooking utensils, clothes, medicines, cosmetics, ...
The metal flows through the blood and intestinal fluid. The metal is accumulated in cells from the fat tissue and the bone tissue.
POLLUTANTS: CO2, SO2, N20, NO, NO2, CO...
In order to avoid toxins we have to eat healthier , keep ourselves happy and wanting to keep us without toxins.


To detoxify us, we can eat Chlorella seaweed.
